It's crazy to think that the middle school soccer will be over in 2 weeks. It's even crazier that in two days I'll be driving to Nebraska to visit Chris at college for the last time. Sunday he will be graduated and become a man ha ha or at least more of a grown up. Then the following week Kadie has her continuation from 8th grade (scary!), then the very next day Bruce (Brian's younger brother) graduates from high school. This year has just been intense. And now Brian and I are trying to figure out what we should do for the end of the year party. The kids want to have a BBQ at City Park which I think would be a blast, so I'm excited. I'll be so sad to see the 8th graders gone next season. They all are so fun and each have great personalities. I can't wait to make their awards either, Brian and I decided to make awards for each 8th grader of something silly that we feel they are most likely to be. I'll be laughing my head off for sure when I see their reactions. I love helping Brian with these kids, they have truly brightened my life and made college even more fun. I will always be grateful to them because they brought soccer back into my life. I may not be able to play as much or as well anymore but I can at least watch them grow and mature into young adults. They remind me of Kadie and Josh, so being with them is almost as good as being home.
